Slovenia men's national ice hockey team

The Slovenian men's national ice hockey team, also known as ''The Lynxes'' ((スロベニア語:Risi)), is currently ranked 14th in the world by IIHF as of the 2011 IIHF World Ranking. The team is controlled by the Ice Hockey Federation of Slovenia. Slovenia has only 943 players (the second lowest after Lithuania in the top 25 world rankings). Their best ever record is 13th place and highest ranking is 12th.
The national junior team has never played in the Championship division; the only country in the top 22 of world rankings. 5 players from Slovenia have been drafted into the NHL since 1980. Anže Kopitar and Jan Muršak have played in the league.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 title=Elite Prospects - Player Search )
